Headline: Ally credited for significant falls prevention results at Kingsbury Court
We’re delighted to be credited in Care Home Professional’s feature story on how Kingsbury Court, managed by Maria Mallaband Care Group, has eliminated preventable falls and reduced overall falls by 65%.
In the article, success is attributed to the implementation of Ally’s AI Resident Monitoring combined with proactive leadership and staff engagement which has reduced falls and hospital admissions, and improved sleep quality.
Jay Trondillo, Maria Mallaband Care Group’s regional director, praised Ally for preventing falls and promoting independence and Stephanie Marks from Surrey Heartlands ICB who ran a Sensor-Based Falls Protection and Detection Technology (SBFPDT) pilot involving Kingsbury Court commended the technology’s impact on resident outcomes.
Jay commented: “Using the Ally system has enabled us to eliminate all associated preventable falls for at-risk residents. For other residents, Ally has enabled us to promote their independence, giving them the freedom to move around safe in the knowledge that if they have a genuine fall, we’re aware of it and can respond quickly. By focusing on eliminating all associated preventable falls for at-risk residents and promoting independence, we’ve seen overall a reduction of falls by 65%, which we’re incredibly proud of.”
